Comtest Networks’ 5 Pair BIX Splitter is a modular, 5 ports, full POTS Splitter designed to provide POTS services in conjunction with VDSL2 services. The 5 Pair BIX Splitter prevents high frequency VDSL2 signals from interfering with POTS services. It also prevents low frequency POTS signal from interfering with VDSL2 services.

The 5 Pair BIX Splitter is installed either as a stand alone unit or in multiples at the demarcation point, or within the MDU telecommunication wiring closet.

The 5 Pair BIX Splitter allows for a quick, easy, logical and cost effective means of deploying VDSL2 services. The 5 Pair BIX Splitter is configured using the industry standard, 25 pair QCBIX1A distribution blocks, Line, POTS and VDSL2.
