CPE 01V - Indoor VDSL2 / ADSL2+ POTS Splitter

The CPE-01V is a low-pass POTS Splitter designed to enable POTS service to coexist with ADSL2+ and VDSL2 data signals up to 30MHz. This full POTS splitter is small and unobtrusive - designed for deployment at commercial and residential customer premises.

As networks speed up and the microfilters typically used for ADSL connectivity hit their limitations, carriers need alternative, high-bandwidth CPE solutions that take them to their preferred demarcation point. Comtest’s entire family of CPE splitters supports VDSL2 while remaining backwards-compatible with existing ADSL technologies.

The CPE Splitter connects easily to xDSL modems and telephone equipment and is installed using existing wiring for rapid turn-up. In order to ensure peak performance, the CPE Splitter prevents high frequency xDSL Signal and telephone services from interfering.

Connection to the DSL modem and telephone equipment is straight forward. RJ-11 connectors ensure quick and reliable connections. For added flexibility, gel-filled IDC connectors are also available.

Features unique to the CPE-01V include the addition of secondary surge protection and compatibility with HPNA home networking. The innovative design addresses specific issues that affect video quality such as ring-trip.
