The Comtest NID is a full POTS splitter and that sits outside the customer premises and supports combined POTS/VDSL2 service. An alternative mounting option is available for interior installation on a wall. Connection to VDSL2 modems and telephone equipment is straightforward and tool-free using existing wiring.
