Test Access

MTAS (Metallic Test Access Solution)

This innovative product combines splitter and test-access functionality in a single unit for use however you like: as a splitter, test access, or both. Sitting between subscriber lines and the DSLAM it serves as a low pass filter for xDSL/POTS, enables remote and automated metallic test access, and provides secondary over-voltage/over-current protection. MTAS allows simultaneous voice and data services to be delivered over local loops—and enables test access for customer line monitoring and troubleshooting both upstream and down.
